Okay no, I really need to say something about this. I’m so sick of people slut shaming Taylor just because her songs are about guys. Hey, guess what? The majority of songs out there are written about someone. She’s just a bit more obvious about her songs because she doesn’t hide her relationships (which she really can’t, since she’s a celebrity). Still, she manages to make her songs pretty relatable as “person-specific” as they are, that’s why they’re so popular. And if you look at this list, there’s only about 8 different guys mentioned. From high school to now (she’s about 23) that’s really not a lot. In the past 4 years she’s only dated like 4 or 5 guys. Critique her voice, critique her music, critique her songwriting if you want, but don’t critique her dating because for a 23 year old who is gorgeous, talented, and famous, her dating history is not even above average.
